Teaching Team
We are a dedicated team of experienced speakers passionate about inspiring others to become the hands and feet of Jesus. Through engaging messages rooted in Scripture and real-world experience, we aim to empower individuals and communities to serve with compassion, justice, and purpose.
If you’re a church leader seeking to ignite a deeper passion for service within your congregation, we would love the opportunity to partner with you. Let us join you in encouraging your community to live out their faith in impactful and transformative ways.
Josiah Haken
Josiah grew up as the son of missionaries in Yaounde, Cameroon, before stepping into his own calling as an advocate and direct service provider to men and women experiencing homelessness in the United States in 2010. Since then he has had the privilege of speaking at countless churches, chapels, and ministries where he affirms the timeless truth that God identifies so closely with the hurting, hungry and homeless that it’s impossible to experience God while ignoring our neighbors.
Josiah has his MA in Ministry, Leadership & Culture through Fresno Pacific University, and is the author of Neighbors With No Doors: The Truth About Homelessness, and How You Can Make a Difference.
Lydia Lucas was born and raised in Spanish Harlem. In her early twenties, she was on a trajectory to perpetual “hot messiness” when she said “Yes” to God’s call. Through much waiting, trusting, growing, stumbling, and learning how to get back up again, she has experienced tremendous transformation, for which she takes no credit. She is the author of A New Thing.
Lydia's preaching and teaching style is authentic and challenging. Her compassion, love for the Word and commitment to justice for all people are apparent when she speaks.

Sidney is passionate about sharing God’s Word, striving to discern and deliver His message in the moment through a contextually accurate presentation of Scripture. Believing that Scripture remains "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness," Sidney seeks to uncover its relevance for today, guiding believers toward becoming more faithful representations and worshipers of Jesus.
Reflecting on his ministry, Sidney shares, “Time and time again I have seen these scriptures lived out in beautiful and compelling ways when connecting with the unhoused, and experienced how those connections can help us grow deeper in Him.”
