Church Partnerships
The most vulnerable don’t just need your church—your church needs the most vulnerable.
Churches that partner with City Relief not only transform NYC and New Jersey, they transform their own communities.
Church Leaders have found that partnering with City Relief isn’t just “a mission trip.”
It’s is THE Mission that God calls us to. Loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Here are some of the many churches that make caring for their unhoused neighbors an integral part of their mission: Northview Church, Times Square Church, Joy Christian Fellowship, Evangel Church, Lower Manhattan Community Church, Liquid Church, Grace Church on the Mount, and Hope Fellowship Church.
Scripture tells us that Jesus resides with the poor (Matthew 25, Luke 4, Matthew 5). If your church wants to be with Jesus, it must be with the poor. If you wants to learn from Jesus, you must learn from the poor.

Training Sessions on Homelessness
From lunch-and-learn sessions to three-part intensives, we help churches across the country build a more empathetic narrative toward the unhoused.
Neighbors With No Doors Book and Discussion Guide
City Relief CEO Josiah Haken’s book, Neighbors with No Doors: The Truth About Homelessness and How You Can Make a Difference, offers an insightful look into homelessness, common perceptions of the unhoused, and ways to build meaningful connections. Does your church host small groups?
